We hunt on 165 sq miles of rugged public land in Idaho’s Panhandle Region; specifically units 6 & 7.
Our base camp is located in unit 7 near the small town of Avery ID.  Idaho’s Panhandle Region is in Northern Idaho and sets on the western side of the rocky mountains. Our hunting area is not as rugged as Montana nor Colorado. Most of our big game hunting trips occurs between 4,000 and 5,500 feet. The terrain is still steep  and requires hunters to be in shape. Working out before your big game hunt is vital and can increase the hunter’s success. Most of the tags required to hunt in our area of northern Idaho can be purchased over the counter at any Idaho sporting good store, Idaho Fish and Game offices, check in stations, or online at the Idaho Fish and Game Website.
