Spring Snow Goose!
The Goose Shack specializes in snow goose hunting, covering both the fall and spring conservation season. We follow the migration of birds in the best regions of Quebec, from the northern limits of agricultural lands to the southern extremity of the province. We hunt near major bird sanctuaries and staging areas to provide you with the hunting scene you deserve.
Spring hunts, from March 20 to May 23 , take place in the southwest of the province and near natural refuges around the Lac-Saint-Pierre region where each spring 500,000 snow geese stop to rest and rest. feed before resuming migration to the Arctic. From mid-April to the end of May , we cover the Mauricie sector, the region of Quebec and Bas-Saint-Laurent in order to be in the most productive sectors according to the evolution of migration.
The duration of a typical hunt is half a day (1/2 day) and usually takes place in the morning. On the other hand, it is possible to hunt in the afternoon according to your specifications or according to the plan that you will have pre-established when booking.
