Global Outdoor Travel (GOT Adventure)
In south eastern British Columbia along the western edge of the Rocky Mountain Trench rise the Purcell Mountains. The Purcells are home to Global Outdoor Travel and our Adventures! We are a local family owned adventure and outfitting company dedicated to providing first class service and accommodations to clients seeking summer and winter back country wilderness adventures including trail rides and pack trips as well as mountain cabin and lodge rentals.
Summer adventures include both front and back country horseback riding, wildlife photo safaris, hiking, and rafting. GOT Adventure also guide a limited number of fly-fishing clients on the St. Mary River to some of the best wild cutthroat trout fishing in North America. Winter adventures include game drives and wildlife photo safaris.
A significant portion of our licensed commercial recreation area is located in the world famous Purcell Wilderness Conservancy (PWC). The Conservancy boasts true pristine wilderness, restricted by the BC government to non-motorized access, and is protected from the industrial and recreational development. Inside the Conservancy we travel by horseback, hiking, and skis.
Our adventure area is accessed via Cranbrook and Kimberley, British Columbia. Daily flights from Calgary and Vancouver International Airports connect to Cranbrook. Clients may also travel by vehicle to Cranbrook through AB, MT, WA, or ID. Calgary is approximately 4 hours. Kalispell, MT and Spokane, WA both have airports that are serviced daily from most US centers. Approximate drive times are 2.5 hours from Kalispell and 3.5 hours from Spokane.
