Grand Lake Hunt

Hunting in North America

Grand Lake Hunt

Find yourself in a place where hunting Elk, Red Deer, Fallow Deer and Buffalo, as well as free-range Moose, Whitetail Deer, Black Bear, Turkey, and Grouse is more than just a sport. Here you can intimately connect with nature in one of the most spectacular hunting preserves in Maine. Located in the quiet town of Danforth, Grand Lake Hunt is over 800 acres of prime hunting ground.  When you are not hunting, you can cast your fishing rod into one of the 13 bodies of water located within a 15 minute radius or try your hand in our 2 private stocked ponds. This picturesque Maine game preserve has a licensed FFL and is dedicated to a safe,  quality hunting experience that can be treasured for a lifetime.

The Hunt Preserve:

Sugar maple, white & yellow birch, white pine, spruce, balsam fir and cedar grow abundantly on the gently sloping hills that mold the topography of Grand Lake Hunt. Natural springs feed pools of water where deer, buffalo, and the occasional fox gather to slake their thirst. Permanent ground blinds and tree stands tucked strategically into the landscape afford shelter from elements and unobstructed views of the wild life. Mount Khatahdin, off in the distance, boasts its beautiful peak. The Hot Brook Lakes beckon with promise of bass, perch, and pickerel while woodpeckers hammer away nearby. It’s a wild wonderful world and this is just the beginning.
