Covid 19 update:
We are changing our booking policy for the 2020 season. Instead of the 50% USD non-refundable deposit needed to book a hunt, we will now only require a $500 USD deposit that is fully refundable if Government Travel Restrictions or any other Government ordered restrictions prevent our clients from going on their hunt.
With so many factors beyond our clients’ control these days, we felt that our booking policy was not reasonable under the current circumstances. We feel that it’s only fair to give our clients the opportunity to book the hunt they want without having to take the chance of losing their deposit due to events that are far beyond anything they could control or anticipate.
This offer will only be available for the 2020 season. We will likely return to our normal booking/deposit policy for the 2021 season.

Fawnie Mountain Hunts conducts 10 day Moose hunts beginning each fall on September 15. Hunts are conducted from the main Lodge on Laidman Lake or clients have the option of flying from the Lodge at Laidman to one of our out post cabins or camps.
We are offering a special on all harvest fees for any second species harvested on all our hunts for the 2020 season (we don’t charge a harvest fee for the first animal but we do charge a fee for subsequent animals taken on a combination hunt.
For example, there is no fee for a Moose on a Moose/Wolf/Bear combo hunt but there is a fee for any wolves or bears taken on that hunt. Also, on Bear/wolf combo hunt, the first bear is free but harvest fees would apply to any wolves or other bears taken by the hunter).

So for 2020, our harvest fees for a second or subsequent animal are $500 for a Black Bear and $250 for a wolf for all our hunts.
B.C. has deemed hunting and fishing an essential service. however with border crossings still an issue, we are hopeful they will be open soon.
Fawnie Mountain Hunts conducts 7 day bear hunts beginning each Spring starting in May when the bears are fresh from hibernation, and the hides are excellent.
We are offering a special on Bear hunts for any hunters wishing a 1 guide, 1 hunter bear hunt.
1 on 1 bear hunts are being offered at 2 on 1 prices for a savings of $1500. This is subject to availability as our spring Bear hunts prove to be popular.
