Alberta Big Game Rut Hunts:

Elk Hunting in Alberta

7500.00 U.S.($9,550 CAD) + taxes, tags included in price for all hunts.
You will have a one on one guided hunt with us in our 3 point or larger Elk areas. We will have two hunters max in camp.

6 day bush camp in remote wilderness camp setting.

Available dates:

Third week of Sept. 15th –

Fourth week of Sept.

Mornings usually start between 5:00 am and 6:00 am for breakfast. You will be given the option to return to camp for lunch or take a packed lunch with you returning for a late supper.

We like to concentrate our hunting efforts around watering holes, wallows, licks, creeks, rivers, and cut blocks. We will have had trail cameras out by late July in these areas to know and have confirmation of the animals in the area. Once a bull is located by calling, we will walk towards the animal while answering his calls. The moment we know the animal is coming to us, we will either send you ahead, or we will drop back about 50-100 yards depending on the situation and call the animal in to get it as close to you as we can. Whether you shoot the animal or not is up to you. This area is a 3 point minimum and we recommend you shoot an Elk with at least 5 point per side.

Rifle or Bow.

Moose:

We provide one on one guided Archery & Rifle Moose hunts two Hunters max in camp Last Week Of September First two weeks of October), the spread of these animals is usually between 30″ – 45″ with some exceptional specimens reaching 50″+. we take excursions by ATV into the remote back country.

Whitetail:
Our hunts are one guide for every 2 hunters, you will either be in the agricultural areas or the deep woods.
Hunts start the third week of October and run until the last day of November.
The average score on Bucks in this area is around the 140″ mark with some exceptional animals reaching 180″ + mark.
Most hunting will be concentrated around the doe feeding activity.

Spring Black bear rut hunt $3750.00 + 5%tax for two bear

Moose rut hunt $7,000+5%tax

Whitetail rut  $4000+5%tax

Grey wolf $3,500 +5%tax
