Alberta Whitetail:
We run a limited amount of whitetail hunts and have an extremely high deer hunter return rate.
We offer 6 & 8 day Rifle Whitetail hunts. Clients can expect to see bucks in the 145 – 175 inches. we usually have a couple in the 180+ on camera each year. Most of our stands are along Natural funnels and scrape lines utilizing tower stands, tripods, box blinds and ladder stands. Later in the season we may hunt smaller cutlines or cutblocks as the bucks are cruising. We scout year round and our guides are always looking for fresh locations. Using cameras to our advantage we have a pretty good idea of what bucks are in the area.
A day whitetail hunting looks like this. Grab a coffee and a breakfast sandwich to go if you please, hop in the guide’s truck and head out to the stands. Hop on the atv and the guide will drop you off at your stand. He will scout and check cameras for the duration of the day, move a stand if necessary, Constantly checking his phone to see if he got a big buck down text. If no luck he will pick you up at dark and head back to the lodge for a huge hot meal. Every hunter gets a wolf/coyote tag in their pocket. If you tag out there is an abundance of coyotes to sit on over your gut pile.
